BCC Construction began humbly, as a small property management maintenance team serving downtown Sacramento. Our early work was rooted in the upkeep and repair of residential multi-family homes and mixed-use commercial properties. Day in and day out, we were hands-on—responding to tenant concerns, fixing what was broken, and ensuring the smooth operation of the properties we managed.

But as we gained experience, we started to see things differently. We realized that good maintenance wasn’t just about responding quickly when something failed—it was about anticipating issues before they happened. This shift in thinking marked a turning point. We began to partner more closely with our clients, helping them transition from reactive maintenance to a more strategic, proactive approach. Through preventative maintenance programs and thoughtful asset preservation planning, we helped extend the life of key property systems and improve overall property performance.

As we continued working closely with clients, another opportunity emerged. We saw that by combining essential repairs with smart upgrades, we could go beyond functionality and start enhancing the quality, livability, and value of the spaces themselves. This insight led to the launch of our Renovation and Design Department, where we brought client visions to life through carefully crafted floorplans, elegant finishes, and modern, functional design elements.

What started in multi-family and commercial spaces naturally evolved. Our reputation for quality work and design-forward thinking led us into the single-family home market, where we now provide comprehensive renovations—inside and out.
